Two guys standing out today at Virginia Tech practice: Ben Hammond and Tyler Johnson. Both have made great strides since the end of last season. The value of returning to the same program as a sophomore. Keep an eye on the 6-5 Johnson as a small ball 4.

Amani Hansberry has completely transformed his body since last season at West Virginia. Much leaner and stronger. Taking and making 3’s. Should be an excellent face up 5 for Virginia Tech under Mike Young.

Palpable Buzz in Blacksburg surrounding foreign import Neoklis Avdalas. 6-8 and has an incredible feel. A much better shooter than Egor Demin was last season for BYU. A gifted offensive talent. Will have a great season for Virginia Tech.
