And good is coming. I’m white and I’m voting for your voice. Because I know mine is biased and insufficient.

The biggest scam pulled on teachers has been convincing them to “do it for the kids” & vilifying them when they ask for anything for them (like a cost of living raise). It is a job. An important one, yes. But a job. It pays the mortgage. It’s not a calling from the heavens.
@BlytheChristen Maybe there’s more to this. He might have his own experiences. For example… when I feel close to suicidal, the thing that keeps me from entertaining it further is the impact it would have on my family. I haven’t attempted suicide though. So maybe my experience is quite different

I’m sad to see no voters for the voice so emotional and riled up. There’s just so much they don’t understand. But the thing is… it’s not their fault. We’ve whitewashed out history for too long. So try to go a bit gently on them. Now is time for their education. Not abuse
