Manchester City will always be part of my heart.
I arrived at Maine Road in 1995 and lived through some very difficult days with this club. Relegation, uncertainty, seasons when nothing went our way. But one thing never changed: the supporters stood by City every single week.
Today there is a lot of noise around the club. I'm not here to talk about courtrooms. I'm here to say that this club, its people and its fans have been through storms before, and they always came back stronger.
Stay together. Stay proud. Blue forever. 💙

I find it fascinating that supposed left-wingers are campaigning to put male sex offenders in women’s prisons, trying to shut down women-only rape crisis centres and cheering on Big Pharma’s lucrative move into chemical castration of minors, but here we are.
Should any of the women's organisations targeted by @AmnestyUK's recent 'anti-rights' blacklist wish to take legal action, applications can be made to the JK Rowling Women's Fund. https://t.co/iyohnrgVZN
Gay men's organisations named on the list are welcome to contact me through my website. While the JK Rowling's Fund was set up to support women, JK Rowling herself is more than happy to donate to your legal fighting fund.
For years, anyone on the centre left was expected to say absurd stuff like “trans women are women” and “some women have penises.” No one actually believed it - but if you didn’t chant the mantra you would be ostracized as a far right hateful Nazi transphobic genocidal bigot.
So most people - being cowardly - simply pretended to go along with it. And to prove their allegiance to the cult, they joined in the vilification of all those who refused to lie.
Of course we’re glad to see people return to planet reality. But they have left so many people’s lives and careers in ruins along the way.
@Nathanswfc2004 Yep…I never see people give concrete examples of this supposed arrogance. I feel like it’s just muscle memory from Sun front pages 30 years ago
This is deeply concerning.
Photographer Alastair Hilton was enjoying a pint with a friend when two Metropolitan Police officers tracked him down and warned him about his posts on social media.
Mr Hilton was asked to step outside the pub, where the officers read out the section of the Crime and Policing Act 2026 under which they threatened to arrest him should he cross the line.
This was all because Mr Hilton had shared a post protesting the actions of a local Green councillor, who had successfully campaigned to remove the outdoor seating from three pubs on the Thames riverside near his home.
While we do not approve of intimidating public office holders at their homes, gathering at a pub in the vicinity of a councillor’s house and standing up for your right to sit outside and enjoy a beer is not a crime.
We can already see how this legislation — with this provision having come into force only on 29th June — can be manipulated to silence dissent.
The Met Police again appear more interested in dealing with free speech disputes online rather than tackling real crime.
@London_W4, the FSU will write to you today.
You mean men, men who claim to be women. You are a national broadcaster that consistently obfuscates facts around sex because you’ve taken an ideological position the public overwhelmingly rejects. This isn’t news, it’s propaganda.
The Canary has been debanked by Lloyds.
Debanking is one of the most pernicious forms of cancellation that an individual or organisation can face — something the FSU is only too familiar with.
Lloyds has provided no explanation for its decision and has not told The Canary when its funds will be returned.
We are in contact with The Canary and stand ready to help.
