@tejbz As I am not a doctor, I can't comment on the efficacy or safety of vaccines. But it's important to note that some vaccines are experimental in nature. It'd make sense to research the safety & efficacy of these.

Sickening how light these punishments are.
It seems that the punishment doesn't fit the crime if you ask me. If you destroy a life, your life deserves to be destroyed. Not that you're temporarily moved into detention, pay €3.750 and go on your merry way.

🇳🇱 A group of underaged asylum seekers brutally gang raped a 33 y/o Dutch homeless woman last year and were just sentenced to a mere 4 to 15 months in a “youth detention facility”.

Fives boys, ages 15 to 18, found the woman sleeping on a bench in a park. They dragged her to a quiet spot, repeatedly gang raped her anally and vaginally, punched her in the face and stole her phone. Later that night police officers found the woman basically left for dead, bleeding, with her pants still down.

The court pointed out that because the perpetrators are foreign unaccompanied minors in the Netherlands, “they still need a lot of help and guidance in functioning in Dutch society” and proceeded to sentence them under juvenile law for sentences between 4 and 15 months.

So there you go: No deportation, nothing. Just 15 months of playing board games, receiving an education and staying at a detention center for about a year and then they’ll be back on track to receive their Dutch citizenship as if nothing ever happened. All paid for by Dutch taxpayers, of course.

As I point out all the time: our judicial system is deeply corrupt and rotten. You can vote for change all you want but as long as our judiciary isn’t fixed, this is what we’re left with.

They do not deserve to walk the streets freely, after having destroyed a life. If done by a Dutch national I would advocate for a life sentence, since we have eliminated the death penalty to prevent irreversible mistrials.👍

Deportation as soon as they become 18, we don't want to pay for their incarceration. If they can't be deported, e.g. they are native to the country, a life sentence seems to be the only thing that gets close to justice for these victims.
