We distributed 61 middle grade and 47 young adult books today which brings us to 531 books this summer with 3 more weeks to go. I am so grateful for the dedicated volunteers who make this happen every week. We are #OneWhitfield. Oh, and #onewhitfieldreads, even our teenagers!!

@NewsHour I attended a Yo Yo Ma concert and shared my experience with my class of seniors. One student suggested I should check out Black Violin. We spent the rest of class listening to their music. Teachable moment for the teacher! 💜

@jimmyfallon My aunt sold me a '79 Volare station wagon with plush burgundy interior and woodgrain paneling for one dollar. It stopped going into reverse during college, so I had to park where I could roll forward to get moving. Otherwise, it sounded like a explosion to back up. #MyWorstCar
