my thoughts behind this are that i think zach was going for a natural cutscene effect and so the player (bryan) can’t move until the cutscene ends. go easy on my boy he’s not playable yet

It will throw you into two puzzles, the first one requires:
- Blood Moon Orb (Top Left Slot)
- Floating Candelabra (Top Right Slot)
- Arcane Fragment (Bottom Left Slot)
- Rusted Cross (Bottom Right Slot)

After that, another puzzle will appear. You will want to match the Puzzle to the Circle Dial you have in your inventory - If you want to skip that whole riddle, look at the photos below and match them accurately.

Note: In my screenshot, I noticed that it moves the Blood Moon Orb and Floating Candelabra, not sure if that's the proper position they should be in - or if they moved due to the puzzle. Either way, it allowed me to go onto the next chapter.

Continue by clicking on Mr. Fantastic's Groin/Mid-Section

It will throw you into a mini shooting range mini game, where you must use space bar (sorry Console! on PC my Space is my jump by default) and shoot him.

Successfully completing Chapter 5 Unknown Space will grant you the "Mr. Malignance" Gallery Card, "The Witches Watched" Gallery Card and 100 Units (Blue Currency).

I hope I didn't miss anything when writing this down, two puzzles stumped me for a bit. If anything just ask questions below and I'll try my best to answer them.

Bryan turning to a monster is the correct ending and a chris/jill rocket would have made the movie worse, the whole point is you watched an npc become the boss.

If a real protagonist shows up at the last second, that stops being a tragedy and turns into a cutscene.

The 2026 RE movie understands the games better than the Anderson films and that is unpopular because it has no laser hallway and no Alice but Zach Cregger understands locked doors, voice notes and a monster that used to be a person with a name.
