Playing softball today @homefieldkc. Other than a deep backstop (because fields are also used for baseball), this complex is sweet. 8 turf fields, nice bathrooms, good concessions, covered bleachers & actual bleacher seats. WHY DOESN’T OMAHA HAVE THIS? #makeitmakesense

@MerlG_Official Not a “fan” of either team but respect both programs. I don’t appreciate that kind of behavior in the midst of the game (say, after a walk, being HBP). But penalize a player for showing emotion/passion because they hit a walk off HR in a historic rivalry??? ABSURD.

@Maren_Angus Sad that no one realizes there can be more than one Queen. Two of the top collegiate softball players in the country are from the Omaha metro…& yet
softball is treated like the red-headed stepchild here. And there is sooooo much talent in Nebraska. So disappointing.

Omaha is now building a multimillion dollar soccer stadium…yet still fails to support youth sports by its failure to have a multi sport complex comparable to those in KC, Ankeny, Bettendorf, Peoria & multiple other communities across the US.
