My anxiety has been through the roof the past 2 days. Resting heart rate was up to 90bpm, didn’t drop below 100 during last night’s game and most of today’s (via updates and Flashscores). Now it’s official, I’m back down to 75. Hockey is not good for my heart!

I waited as long as I felt was decent - the wine is now open. A white Rioja (didn’t know that was a thing!) that my secret santa got me and it’s lovely. And it’s all mine since he doesn’t like wine. Happy Christmas to me! #JoinIn

Well, he started watching Charlie & The Chocolate Factory and I started reading. I got around 4 chapters in, around when 5 children entered the factory. I’ve just woken up with my book shut, 2 children left in the factory and he’s devouring chocolate fudge cake. #JoinIn

Per the boss’ instructions, my out of office went on at lunchtime. Quick shop trip for some essential foods then spent the rest of the day looking after my sick note fella. Our first time spending Christmas together and I’ve given him the flu 😬
