@_morgan_bruce@TigersJUK I’m inclined to disagree.
The classic is a vehicle to develop infrastructure in the UK itself.
The prize money makes a difference to the governing body. Which is evidenced in the team having g chartered flights, decent jerseys and more media organisation this time around
Got to be proud of @GB_Baseball. 4 games in 4 day and to be competitive in all of them is an achievement.
Hard not to see improvement from 2023 and great to see so much support down in Houston. Maybe didn’t shock the world but slowly making the case that we are a baseball country
Chester ranking highly being the best example. Get in the centre course with the parade ring and facilities and it’s nice. Anywhere else is over priced.
The Hexham’s and Kelso’s of this world being the opposite. Beautiful places to watch grassroots NH but not very corporate.
Admittedly it’s 6 years since I last had my RCA badge but I’d definitely take these with a pinch of salt for actual racecourse experience.
I think it mainly just shows which courses have the biggest gap between the public and the owners facilities.
Idk but I can’t imagine Joe was best pleased about being fired and perhaps was scheming.
Could explain some weird moves perhaps. Perhaps perhaps perhaps
What with the debt and all it seems to me the Pohlad companies have issues that and as twins fans we are seeing some evidence of a power struggle.
Joe Pohlad was forced out and obviously had a lot of faith in Falvey. Could be that this is dejoeification to remove a loyalist.
Whatever Falvey leaving means its wild timing. Late in the off season when plans should already be in place.
Best case scenario is Falvey wanted a rebuild and the job security to see it though and that was rejected
Worst case scenario is the Pohlads wanted to rebuild/ cost cut

Seriously think what sort of prospect package is going to be worth trading the face of a franchise on a team friendly deal. Not just the players involved, but the almost certainty that it will sink ticket sales and tv revenue
I don’t really think they want to move the team but low fan interest probably attracts buyers who are interested in relocation.
And it’s much more comforting to imagine a sinister plot than to confront an organisation you want to support sincerely make stupid moves
A Buxton trade would almost cement the theory that ownership is trying to alienate the fans and angle for a relocation for potential new ownership.
Take a Twin for life on a very friendly deal and flip him for magic beans with the empty promise of competing “soon”.
At this point I'm operating under the assumption Buxton will be traded. There's just too much smoke around this "maybe willing to waive his NTC" stuff from a guy who was once so vocally not willing. Reminds me of leadup to the Correa trade.
All to line up a mobile franchise with some half baked prospect capital to go and play losing baseball in Nashville or Charlotte or Portland or Utah etc etc

Pulled this Niko Kavadas 1990 auto from my update hobby. It’s numbered to /50 on the back
I checked eBay for comps but for the exact same card they aren’t numbered. As far as I can tell 90 autos don’t have an /50
