You were expected to help ensure Senator Bato’s arrest but instead of seeing urgency and firm action, we saw protection for those in power. As DILG Secretary, the public expects swift and decisive action, not incompetence.

Gunshots were fired in the Senate yet justice is delayed once again. Public office is not meant to shield the powerful. Filipinos are exhausted from double standards. Ordinary citizens are quickly punished yet officials and allies seem untouchable. Filipinos deserve a government that enforces the law consistently and prioritizes justice over loyalty or political convenience.
