Today tSCAN lab dedicated time to learn, live, and hope☮️🎗️🕊️❤️After great science talks by interns and undergrads, the rest of us looked back and planned for the future. Then off to Mahane Yehuda Market for some culinary delights...and chk out our summer music list in the reply!
Excited towards @IASPpain's #WC2024! A week till tSCAN lab members @marine_granjon Or K @JemmaSilvert and I land in Amsterdam with some great science to share- do come visit!
We'll present on #anger#depression, perceived injustice, interoception, #mentalhealth and more!
My first intro to #interoception was with @DrGeoffBird & @DrJJMurphy back in 2017, basing my undergrad research project on @DrSFink's findings. Little past me is in AWE that this tweet exists in the world.
Was the best to meet you this week Sarah!
An unbelievable week in Venice at the @NeuroscienceSAS Interoception & Brain Disorders conference 🧠🇮🇹 Ever grateful to @DrSFink for the chance to hear from, & connect with, so many incredible researchers and long-time inspirations!
Last full day of the @NeuroscienceSAS conference on Interoception & Brain Disorders held on the beautiful island of San Servolo in Venice. Thank you to everyone who came and speakers @danamsmall, @KhalsaLab, Catherine Tallon-Baudry, @CritchleyHugo, @AgustinMIbanez & Henry Evrard
Huge congrats to incoming tSCAN post-doc @marine_granjon who won a scholarship from the Lady Davis Fellowship Trust for the 2023-2024 academic year -we can't wait to have you here with us Marine! @InstituteofDen1@Hujident@HebrewU

@micahgallen E.g. I was wondering about using smartwatches/fitness trackers, but I'm not sure whether a) this would give fast enough feedback for an adaptive staircase, and b) the confound of smartwatch users' prior beliefs about their HR would be too great?
@micahgallen Yes, the HRD pre-print is really really interesting - and what led me deep into 2019 twitter threads! I'm definitely feeling the challenge of remote data collection in the timeframe of an MSc project...
@micahgallen Hi Micah - I'm interested in your views on slider hr-matching tasks as a measure of I(acc), especially re ways of using slider tasks to form pyschometric/2afc measures? With in-person testing being so limited atm, slider tasks have great virtual potential!
