So what is actually happening with the ceasefire?

- Pakistan, assisted by Turkey brokered a ceasefire
- Iran aware of the Pakistani Defense-Pact with Saudi and how unpopular for the Pakistani people it would be to side with 🇮🇱-🇺🇸
➡️ promised to not break it by going kinetic
- Israel exploited its leverage on Trump for face-saving action against Lebanon
- Iran went for a 'soft-kill' by keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed, with time ticking for world economy

Neighbourly relations means that Iran has to play chess here instead using the hammer
➡️ The brotherhood with Hezbollah certainly means that Iran would go full counter-value against 🇮🇱 if Hezbollah requested it.
But I'm sure Hezbollah being chess players themselves knows exactly what it is doing, fully aware of the Strait of Hormuz time/market dynamics

➡️ The bare minimum for AoR folks is to realize that Iran is risking re-engaging with a superpower for Lebanon.

مع عودة وتزايد أنشطة التعدين ومعامل معالجات المخلفات ( الكرته) والطرق الغير آمنة في التخلص من مخلفات ��لك النشاط الضار بالبيئة، ومع تكرار التنبيهات لخطورة اثر المواد المستخدمة في إستخلاص الذهب على الإنسان والبيئة في كل مناطق التعدين بالسودان أصبح من المقلق جدا واللازم الإعلان أن الواقع تجاوز مرحلة السبب ليصل إلى مرحلة ظهور الأثر، وذلك يعني أنه ومع إنتشار عمليات التعدين التقليدي وتمادي الشركات المتوسطة والكبرى في التعامل غير السليم مع مخلفات التعدين، وإنتشار الخلاطات واكوام الكرته، أن كل السودان مقبل على كارثة بيئية كبرى، وفي هذا الاتجاه يقول الدكتور صالح علي صالح :
أن الأمر بات واضح الأثر في القرى الواقعة شمال عطبرة وجنوب بربر، حيث أجريت دراسة قام بها باحثين من "جامعة النيلين" و"الجمعية السودانية لحماية البيئة" و"المجلس الأعلى للبيئة" اظهرت بالتحاليل المخبرية مستويات عالية من محتوى الزئبق في تربة المزارع التي تحول بعضها إلى مكبات للكرتة الملوثة بالزئبق.
حيث ثبت أن نسبة %20 من عينات مياه الشرب تحتوي على عنصر الزئبق، و 2 من أصل 7عينات من بول المواطنين و1 من 14 عينة من الدم احتوت على نسب عالية من الزئبق، والمؤسف أن العينات كان معظمها مأخوذ من أطفال تتراوح أعمارهم بين 4 و 11 سنة.
كما ظهرت اعراض حساسية في الجلد، لدى أطفال آخرين استخدموا مياه الخلاطات الملوثة للاستحمام.
فخلال فترة 18 شهر فقط من بدء وضع "أكوام الكرته" في المزارع والمنطقة السكنية تكررت حالات الإجهاض، ونفقت الطيور والماشية التي ��ربت من المياه الملوثة .
ويضيف الدكتور / صالح علي صالح أن عدد أكوام الكرتة بالمنطقة المذكور يقدر باكثر من 700 كوم، تحوي حوالي 450 الف طن من التراب الملوث، الذي تقدر كمية مادة الزئبق فيه بـ 2 طن، في مساحة لا تتعدي 100كلم مربع.
إن هذه وجود هذه النسبة المهولة من مادة الزئبق في ولاية نهر النيل يجعل الموضوع غاية في الخطورة، وتصبح عائدات الذهب أقل من أن تعوض الخسائر في الأرواح والتربة، بما يستدعي تدخل فوري ومباشر من السلطات والجهات المعنية، فبالرغم من القرارات المتأخرة الخاصة بوقف نشاط معالجة واستخلاص الذهب بالخلاطات، إلا أن تلال من التراب الملوث لم تزل موجودة، وسيظل خطرها قائم وممتد خصوصا مع إقتراب فصل الخريف وتوقع الفيضانات الموسمية .
