If you find yourself on the potter's wheel being shaped and molded by His mighty hand, don't despise the process or retreat from the pain, trust Him! The One who acts as the "Potter" working with the clay of the human heart & mind is first and foremost your "Father.” Isa 64:8
In Scripture, God never demands faith without emphasizing His identity and His unfathomable strength. His actions are always motivated by His love for His children, His steadfast character, and His infinite wisdom.
The heat of the trial, drives the human heart to the deepest places of surrender. And in the place of surrender, God can turn your most painful defeat into your greatest victory song
“Liberty and equality are mutually exclusive, even hostile concepts. Liberty, by its very nature, undermines social equality, and equality suppresses liberty – for how else could it be attained?”

In the light of the morning His lovingkindness shines forth with the strength of the rising sun. But, when darkness falls and you can't see His hand, His song will sustain you & His tender mercies will echo a sweet refrain; a reminder that He is near. Don't give up hope! Ps. 42:8
Your strength is at its greatest when you honestly acknowledge the reality of your own human weakness. After all trusting Him in the throes of life's trials takes a tremendous amount of courage. Refusal to lean on your own wisdom = an invitation for God to move on your behalf
"So many times we want the melody and the testimony,
But we don’t want to walk the road that brings the song." Sis. Stephanie Gallion https://t.co/xIFuDFzIBg
Healing is most readily found on the road of brokenness. His light is most clearly seen in the darkness of night. The desperation of a shattered heart is the perfect canvas to showcase the masterpiece of His love, grace, and mercy.
@tmansinho@TammiBauske Classic!!! Only one caveat: Heschel was a practicing Jew, so he will not interpret Messianic prophecy in light of the NT revelation of Jesus. However, his writing is historically strong and he does an excellent job capturing the call and heart of the prophet.
Adversity doesn't just teach you about yourself, it reveals God's character. Sometimes, you have to reach the end of your own strength before you learn to trust His lovingkindness. Brokenness allows his grace to bring transformation. Remember, God “giveth grace unto the humble.”
@sarahsalviander 2. Saul - So much potential! He was gifted, head and shoulders above his peers, yet he couldn't conquer his self-doubt and refused to allow God to shape him. His is a cautionary tale, but if we look closely it's impossible not to see a bit of his character reflected in our own.
