In reviewing data across 19 grant programs I found 1 in 4 “outcomes” were actually outcome statements. I am really interested in colleagues' responses to this – is this a trend in grant applications? @SmartyGrants https://t.co/7UzgPpwBJM
We have been thinking about this issue for nearly a decade. Our grants management system (@SmartyGrants) allows funders to define outcome goals & track outcomes & impacts in the short term or over years/decades/forever if they wish. And - importantly - aggregate that data. 4/5
Many grantmakers are now using the SmartyGrants Outcomes Engine to track and report on the outcomes and impacts of their grants funding. Our goal is to get all 470+ SmartyGrants customers using this tool to maximise the impact of their funding. 5/5 https://t.co/aU8IJdhMm2
