๐จ Drone appreciation post! ๐จ
1,824 drones light up the sky above the Olympic Stadium as the #Tokyo2020 emblem seamlessly becomes a revolving globe. ๐๐

@MichelleKIRO7 @KIRO7Seattle@DeedeeKIRO7 Can you cite the source? I would love to send support to them. Also thatโs really frustrating that people are taking advantage of this situation ๐
@gates_momma@BernardKerik Did you think that original video was from Seattle? Def not. Pretty sure thatโs Minneapolis from the first riot.
Also I know itโs hard to grasp but a few asshole rioters donโt make the BLM movement as a whole. Just like white supremicists donโt represent all Christians in US
@ElijahSchaffer@MayorJenny Fact check: a council member opened the doors with her keys ๐คฃ. This place is funded by our tax dollars so itโs technically ours anyways.
@gates_momma@BernardKerik Not a business owner, but I know some of them personally. Theyโve been supporting the protestors from the beginning (providing food, bathrooms, etc)

@gates_momma@BernardKerik The business owners here understand that a few looters and rioters donโt represent the cause. Maybe do a little more research from local news instead of reposting from some conservative article. Chances are they havenโt event been on the ground here.
@gates_momma@BernardKerik Sounds like ppl in La Mesa care more about property than racial injustice ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ a lot of the local businesses opened up to become volunteer stations donating supplying food, water, and aid.
@djgad227@TheLastRefuge2 I live here. It's been amazing to see the community come together to provide shelter, food, and aid for each other (I got free tacos last night). Unfortunately the police here have done more harm than good and we were sick of having violent armed officers in our neighborhood.
@gates_momma@BernardKerik The city residents are fed up. We don't want military on our streets anymore. The more violent tactics they use to "break up protests" the bigger the crowd got every night. So they left the station to "de-escalate". It's a party now with free food (tacos, burgers, etc) and music.
@gates_momma@BernardKerik The residents and surrounding neighbors have taken the area back from the police and national guard. It's been a hotspot for protesting police brutality. Police teargassing us every night (leaking into our apartments).
@gates_momma@BernardKerik I live here and there's no antifa. Just a bunch of people pissed off with police and military presence in our neighborhood. Sorry to break it to you but there's no ISIS either. It's just a big block party now. Try not to judge if you don't live here or know peopleโ๐ผ
