This is a very emotional post.
Catherine Elizabeth!!!! #TogetherAtChristmas
Last year, beloved Catherine, our Princess of Wales hosted the Together At Christmas event, beautifully and of course looking radiant. It was one of the big events of her planning after winning the fight against cancer. One could tell she was a warrior who had conquered great fear.
This year however, I’ve analyzed every bit of photos and videos from the Together At Christmas event yesterday. It’s soooo different. She’s vibrant, she is more loving, she is grounded, she moves with greater purpose, she leads like Christ’s definition of love. Something shifted fundamentally for the best.
And to God almighty, bless her! Keep her. Heal her completely and make her a source of unending joy to her family, friends, and our most beloved country.
Happy Christmas!
Laughing at an charity evening invitation I've just received. Traditional/cultural dress is encouraged otherwise smart/casual. I come from Manchester - something tell me that my 'cultural dress' would definitely not fit in! 😂😂
I shouldn't complain about the heat. We get so little of it in the UK....but I'm perimenopausal, I'm having hot flushes and I want to rip my skin off. 🤯
I...literally don't know what you expect me to do about it.
3 - We sell many drinks. Carling isn't one of them.
4 - No darts. It's incredibly busy and flying missiles aren't conducive to safety when it's like this.
There's probably more but they're the main whinges of the day.
Dear customers. Things NOT to complain about today, in no particular order.
1 - The Heat. It's warm outside, it's very warm inside. The pub is over 800 years old & listed - air conditioning isn't an option.
2 - There's nowhere to sit. It's a Saturday race day. It's busy.
My ice machine has broken down. The repair company is in Wakefield. I have a 2 day race meet starting tomorrow........How to ruin my day in one easy move.

Managed a trio of no cooking Sundays this month! Duttons yesterday for our 1st anniversary, Slowboat this week for Fathers Day, and rounding off with a trip to @TheWhiteHorsePu on the 22nd for my birthday. 🖤😁
Reporting rough sleepers on private property has just taken 25 minutes! Online should be easier than ringing. I just want these people off the premises so I can work to get the door gated and secure. Reported it to 5 different places so far. It should not be this complicated!
People who order a round of drinks one at a time are amazingly annoying. I promise you, 9 out of 10 bartenders can remember 6 drinks. Holding up the queue as you order a drink, receive it, then order another and repeat the process is brain meltingly irritating!

Today, I am mostly suffering. It's a warm day, busy with races and my allergies kicked in so I have 1 very swollen red eye. Which hurts. I'm wearing dark glasses in my office because the light feels like a knife. FML.
