As a leader, do you react or respond to a crisis? The answer is critical to your success. A “reactor” acts on emotion. A “responder” hits pause and intelligently considers the situation. Great leaders are like thermostats - they control the climate.

You’ll never rise above what you believe about yourself. What you tell yourself will define your life. Sadly, most of us wouldn’t tolerate anyone talking to us the way we talk to ourself. Be an encourager - especially to yourself.
Accepting responsibility is a humble, honest, mature and rare act. The day that you decide to not diminish yourself by blaming, spinning or making excuses is the day your self-esteem will start improving.
Reminder to us all:
We don’t do our kids any favors when they hear us being critical and tearing others down. Instead, let’s show them the value of being respectful, hard working, having discipline, accepting personal responsibility and loving others in spite of our differences.
