Our @CNN roof camera in Burbank captures the @SpaceX dragon capsule flying over Southern California before its successful landing along the California coastline.

The 4 member crew returned a month early due to one member having a medical issue.

BITTERSWEET NEWS: I've made the difficult decision to leave @FOXLA to pursue an exciting new opportunity...that I'm not allowed to talk about just yet. 

My last day at the station is Friday August 15th. 

What I can talk about...is my enormous gratitude to my incredibly talented FOX 11 colleagues, all the guests I've had the honor of interviewing, and so many of you for your support. 

I'm especially grateful that my bosses at FOX 11 are giving me the opportunity to express that gratitude over the next couple of weeks both online and on air. 

I hope you'll join us for that. 

In the meantime, a heartfelt thank you.

East flank of the #PalisadesFire is RIPPING. This is my view from 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. This thing is moving towards Brentwood area and if these winds pick up as advertised tonight we’re looking at potential risk to the Sepulveda Pass, Bel Air, etc if it keeps pushing east. Nonstop sirens, as you can hear in the video.
