@sjdunstall @GlennonDoyle That’s my take as well. I was a little let down at first, but then I realized that they 1) are doing their best to appease us during a pandemic 2) they did wonderful under the restrictions and 3) we could have not had anything at all to bitch about.

Tonight we are opening the Kansas City Convention center to serve as an overnight warming facility for our unhoused population. Starting with 150 beds tonight with capacity for thousands of people if needed. Open 6pm to 8am every night.
