Čína v prvních pěti měsících roku 2025 nainstalovala 18 GW tepelné energie, převážně z uhlí. Zároveň ale Čína má i 227 GW uhelných elektráren ve výstavbě a dalších 257 GW v přípravě.

Na Čínu připadá 83 % celosvětové kapacity uhelných elektráren, které se v současné době staví, a jejích 1789 GW provozovaných uhelných elektráren představuje 55 % celosvětového součtu.

Česko má celkem kapacitu necelých 7 GW v uhelných elektrárnách. Ale zachráníme svět, když zavedeme povolenky pro domácnosti.
