BREAKING: Whoopi Goldberg infuriates MAGA world by absolutely shredding Republicans for their disgusting anti-abortion policies during an incredible viral speech on The View.
This is the courage that this moment in history demands...
Goldberg was reacting to a horrifying new ruling from a federal appeals court which stated that Texas may ban emergency abortions despite federal guidance directing doctors to perform necessary abortions to save patients' lives.
In other words, Texas Republicans can now condemn women to death by blocking life-saving abortions. This is the Christian theocracy Democrats have been warning about.
"So, they’re okay with forced childbirth even if it kills someone, because they’re so pro-life," said Goldberg.
She went on to reference the case of Kate Cox, a Texas woman who had to flee her state in order to get an abortion after MAGA Attorney General Ken Paxton vowed to prosecute any Texas doctors who helped her terminate her dangerous pregnancy.
It was then that Goldberg unleashed her truly epic takedown of Republicans—
"For me it feels like this is just a power play," she stated bluntly. "You know what? You are forcing, you want to make sure that you have control over somebody’s body, whether it kills them or not. And you don’t care whether it kills them."
"You don’t care that you are tearing this woman up!" she went on. "She didn’t want to have an abortion. She wanted a baby. The baby is not viable. She doesn’t want to go through this and yet you are sitting there allowing this torture to happen."
"That’s what’s wrong, is you are torturing someone and you know it. Shame on you!" she concluded.
Bravo Whoopi. More people need to have this kind of courage. Right is right and the lives of innocent women need to be valued above scoring cheap political points with far-right religious voters.

@johngreen I think we should all go rogue and create "pop up" little libraries housing "adult" and banned books around towns where this kind of s*@t is going on. Not just a few in yards, but everywhere kids go!
The Fault in Our Stars has been removed from the YA section in the suburbs of Indianapolis and is now considered a "book for adults." This is ludicrous. It is about teenagers and I wrote it for teenagers.
Teenagers are not harmed by reading TFIOS. This is such an embarrassment to the city of @FishersIN.
We still have a long way to go until the health care and legal systems are prepared for the coming revolution in #genetics. Thoughtful and thought-provoking essay from @SusannaJSmith in @Health_Affairs.

@LowIQLeftDerp@Deranged_Xeno65 @Allen073157 @HillaryClinton Sending you nothing but love. Whatever you’ve been through, I hope it hasn’t been too devastating. And you can’t be a teacher without an education, thus my original point in this post series.
@LowIQLeftDerp@Deranged_Xeno65 @Allen073157 @HillaryClinton Typo. Sorry. Why be so mean? I bet you’ve made a typo every now and then. If you are interested, PM me. I’ll tell you my story and maybe you’ll see some gray area. Maybe not, but it’s worth trying to find common ground. I have a Masters degree from a great college.
@khammera @Allen073157 @lwillfollow@HillaryClinton Exactly…taxes pay for something we all use. Private roads help pay too. People shouldn’t pay for students who don’t attend. And driving is not a requirement either. Apply the same rules to both.
@HowardDdvenport @Allen073157 @HillaryClinton We are teaching a standardized curriculum that is severely limited because of people who think like you. We CAN’T teach the way you think we do because of the standards in place. So, where are you getting this misinformation? My guess is conservative and erroneous media sources.
@khammera @Allen073157 @lwillfollow@HillaryClinton And also, by your logic all roads should be toll roads. Why should anyone get to use them for free? See how that works?
