>fanfic that just like, suddenly shoves cannibalism in your face, it's lovely that nowadays you can either tag it appropriately, or share a concept online and get your dumb ass handed to you for a very bad idea >
i've read fan fic for yeeeeeeeaaaars, never dipped into actual fandom and the screaming and discourse and blocking and muting and fury is, well, a tiny bit hilarious (have you ever spent time on a library listserv? still got the scars). i mean, there's always been bonkers>
@danidraper18 Lucius vapes, and Pete makes bongs out of apples and shit. Oluwande likes the pot brownies that Roach bakes. and Buttons is tripping balls
re-reading the Tombs of Atuan and I don't know what drives me back time and again to this book but "she cried for the waste of her years in bondage to a useless evil" has something of the queer about it
@BethinSac K and I started our plans to flee the states the day after the 2016 election wanting to be wrong but preferring to realize that from a safe distance. Afraid gay marriage would be overturned, plus the impact it would have on the kids we badly wanted.
@gingerest@mopie i tore through the original books (the last one we read in a couple of hours, didn't we mo?) but i am having such a hard time getting through this one. but edward on his smug prig bullshit and wow, the murdery murder and the idea that he is a romantic hero? jesus.
