Dolly Parton was offered the Presidential Medal of Freedom multiple times and turned it down.

The Trump administration offered it twice. She declined the first time because her husband was ill, and the second because she wouldn’t travel during COVID. When the Biden team reached out, she said accepting it would feel like “doing politics” and that she wasn’t even sure she deserved it.

She never chased the awards. She just kept doing the work, especially for kids through her Imagination Library.

🚨BREAKING: Air Force Major Jason Watson just got hit with the consequences he invited.

The same officer who stood on the Capitol steps in full uniform holding an “IMPEACH CONVICT REMOVE” sign and later went on CNN to keep attacking the President, has now been formally charged under the UCMJ.

10 charges total:

- 3 counts of Article 88 (contemptuous words against the President)
- 5 counts of Article 92 (disobeying orders)
- 2 counts of Article 133 (conduct unbecoming an officer)
