It’s finally out! I wrote this @culanth post based on teaching my Economic Anthropology course as “Queering Capitalisms” last semester. Many thanks to @tariqlrahman and for the helpful comments, edits and encouragement!
In this piece @jenkhughes and @tariqlrahman offer interdisciplinary readings, in-class exercises, discussion questions, and ideas for teaching a unit on the financial crisis through anthropology as well as other modes of storytelling.

#GeorgeFloyd I want to cheer, but I cannot. I am reminded of the prosecutor's insistence that this was a "pro-police prosecution." That means this conviction is going to be used to make the case that the problem is not systemic but an aberration. That is painfully untrue.
