Finished reviewing this week’s lesson on social media content for #BMC382.
Biggest learning takeaway from @NSmith is that: “You have to create content that matters to your audience, not what matters to you.”
Indeed. This is what largely drives online success!
@sonia_third Great question. It’s refreshing that someone with a podcast platform has been able to offer meaningful and open discussion about various important topics. I don’t think the viewership statistics lie - people are craving information from both sides of the fence. This is overdue.
@JMarucia I enjoyed the interview too. I checked Jennifer out on TikTok and I enjoyed the content. Very close last names… so I can see why you thought that!
This week in #BMC382 we learned about various social media platforms. I particularly enjoyed the interview with @NSmith and Jennifer Atkinson, which reminded me that apps like Instagram and TikTok can be used as a creative outlet to initiate change 💫
@sonia_third It is Instagram for me! The reels, stories and beautiful photography all bundled into one app. Although, it’s been fun to become more familiar with Twitter 😃
This week’s takeaways from #BMC382: Keep posts on Facebook concise. Get to the point immediately to catch the attention of your audience. Upload clean, crisp photos. And hashtags? Perhaps leave them on Instagram.
