@TrudeHagman @RPatricia17@lufthansa Thank. That's my next step. It ruined the first week of our holiday as I was on the phone / online chat trying to get someone to accept responsibility. Then since being back, I sent countless emails and tweets but no further on.
@lufthansa please sort out our claim., FB ID 38953294. You cancelled out return flights from Australia, no idea why and not informed. Told by an agent to book our own and claim back. Not helpful at all
@lufthansa @Lufthansadesk8 I have DM and emailed around 6 to 7 times now and just keep getting the same reply. I need compensation for the replacement flights, not what I originally paid. Also one of the inbound flights was with Virgin Australia , via you but you're saying I have to claim via them !
@TrudeHagman @RPatricia17@lufthansa Hi. Yes. They said our flights had been sold on ( within two days) and couldn't offer the same route back on the days we needed to travel. We recorded the conversation with the agent who told us to book our own and send in the receipt on our return !
@sricharan245@lufthansa Same with us. We were on holiday in Australia and our 3 return flights were cancelled and I only knew because I logged on to see when check in opened. Had to buy new return tickets which were three times the original price and looks like they might only refund the original cost.
@lufthansa The reply I received told me to claim via Virgin Australia ?? Fortunately we recorded the conversation with one of your advisors while in Australia. As it was you who cancelled our return flights, she told us to book our own and claim back. So....
@surrell107 Infuriating. My baby Grandson is getting christened next Sunday and only allowed 30 guests in the garden so loads of family not invited. Beggars belief. Hope you don't feel too ill with it x
