Today I’m mailing cards to students who have shown amazing effort during Distance Learning. I know it’s easier for some than others and these kiddos have shown their dedication to their education, even when it wasn’t easy ❤️🖤
As silly as it sounds, binging this series (twice) brought imperative joy into a very heartbroken and miserable time in my life. I hope it can do the same for all those struggling right now. Laughter may not be the best medicine, but it definitely takes the edge off.

@CaralynFry@CAsocialstudies I taught a novel about Japanese internment and when I taught the history behind it, one student said, “Wait—so we’re pretty much the same as the Nazis?” It took be back a little but finally I said, “Well minus the genocide—but the racism and hatred might have been on par”
My Digital Storytelling Newcomers turned in their final poetry projects today. They were to choose a poem, find the meaning, & create a visual representation. Isabel chose a lyric poem & gave a live performance. She blows me away with her creativity!
This was my first time in a Spanish class since college! I want to visit everyday! @genesishdz is amazing! I walked away with strategies for my ELD class AND my English classes!
