@valencia4people Literally logged into Twitter for the first time in years just to comment on this. I'm still trying to find concrete points of why this was supposed to be a good idea. Is it slightly masochistic that I want to try cycling down this out of confusion/curiosity/speechlessness??
It’s hard for me to ask for support.
But today:
If you’ve been to Burning Man, you know how special the temple is. ~250 volunteers build her so we can be more human, feel deeper, process grief. RT & consider backing and sharing the Temple of the Heart's Kickstarter. 🙏❤️👇
The number of tabs/windows I have opened is directly correlated with the amount of chatter in my head.
It's actually so cathartic when my browser crashes and all the pages are lost.
Thank you @naaap@coldteamedia for making the convo today happen. I learned a lot about relevant history & movements packed in the #AAPI fabric and looking forward to (re)learning even more! 👏
"To be Asian is to stand together"—boom.
💭 I hadn't realized how political the term "Asian American" really is, and how its formation came with the goal of bringing together different types of Asians. #AAPIHeritageMonth

✏️ Takeaway: actively learn about the journeys of different ethnic groups under the #AAPI umbrella. Learn in order to recognize the nuances in all our experiences. #thoughtoftheday
@cogno Thank you for sharing this story, definitely pulled on heartstrings. This reaffirmed my own pledge to:
1) order takeout by calling into the restaurant or booking it off their own website
2) my regular coffee is coming from local cafes only
@maheen_sohail This really makes me think. I hit a ceiling at one point, and didn't realize it. Spent a year just sticking with it, agonizing over where I was. I didn't realize how much pain I could let slide.
Ceilings come in all shapes and forms, and they don't have one definition.
@morningsphere Thank you for putting that beautifully into words. People checking in the day of—"are you ok?" "Yes..."—but then a day later, when they've stopped asking, the answer is a quiet "No..."
