@jbarro It wouldn’t be as bad if the 3 letter designation had remained PBI. The only other airport that changed designations was JFK -and that was after Kennedy was assassinated. Changing PBI to DJT is unusual, but totally in keeping with his incredible narcissism.

@mattwhitlock And our CHEAPEST option is a catastrophic plan - $1713 per month with a $21k deductible and $21k max. We are healthy....and are expected to spend $21k before insurance pays anything. It feels like we are just setting fire to our money.. this is completely absurd and not insurance

@MichaelRStrain How can it be ok to say you need to pay almost $21k in premiums just so you can pay the next $21k in cost before the insurance starts paying? Especially since we are healthy and have no chronic health concerns.

Who is ok with that scenario? I am not.

@MichaelRStrain Our unsubsidized plan with $5500 ind deductible, $11,000 family deductible, $19,000 out of pocket max is about to go up 40%. From $1305 per month to $1818 per month. We have $30 co-pay for primary care Dr, but all other is our responsibility until we meet deductible.

@MichaelRStrain I agree that the subsidies are a problem. But the cost of health care is truly insane. My husband and I are both 54, never smoked, very few health problems, live in FL.

@jimgeraghty When I first heard you talk about your boys being on an FRC team, I smiled. Our boys (both in their 20s now) were on FLL teams and then our local FRC team from late elementary through high school and my husband and I were NEMOs (non-engineering mentors). Boys were both drivers.

@JonahDispatch We adopted our puppy from the Humane Society and about a week later she was diagnosed with parvo. Awful, awful virus - she was the only one of her littermates who survived. Glad Zoe also beat the odds!! Thank you for sharing your girls with us -they always bring a smile!

@JenGriffinFNC This was such a wonderful story! Thank you for sharing it. It was also very sobering to think how fortunate the girls who fled from Afghanistan are and how tragic it is that all the other Afghan girls left behind have been robbed of similar opportunities.
