This week the WoRCS lab was excited to cheer on our very own Jenna Melanson @jenna_melanson as she ran as pace-setter in the Women's 3000m steeplechase in the Canadian Olympic Trials!

Jenna is not only a fantastic runner but is the master of DNA for our lab! Great work Jenna!!

Dragonflies have a long abdomen...so it can take some time for them to poop, but it can tell us a lot about their diets. 💩

Using molecular techniques @Rassim_Kh and @jenna_melanson are going to determine which insects make us the diets of around 10 different Odonate species.
