Didn’t even realise MP’s get a £25 per day food allowance.
£125 per week
£1300 per year ( per person)
£845,000 per year for all MP’s
£800k + of our taxes go towards feeding MP’s on £80k a year while children go hungry. If that doesn’t bother you then you have a problem
🙄I work in a bank, I’ve had cash covered in blood, drugs, piss, I’ve had people hand me money after holding it in their mouth, oh & a woman who gave me cash from INSIDE her BRA (damp) 🤮. yes cash obviously has it’s benefits but is it really that difficult to...
It gives you independence. I heard a story where a man supposedly contracted Covid because of a £20 note he had handled. There is the same chance of Covid being on a card as being on cash. If you cannot see how utterly ridiculous this assumption is then there is little hope.
Use your card during a pandemic, be a little bit mindful of people who have worked throughout it all, handling cash and are nervous about doing so. We’re not refusing your money just asking you to do it another way and happy to show you how. Not asking much🙄
Calls to UK Domestic Abuse Helplines have more than doubled since the lockdown. Victims should know that if they are in danger, they can dial 999, then press 55 and remain silent. Police will know that the caller is in danger and cannot speak. Spread this wide.

@scottkirkwood72 Should of seen the queue this morning out the door and down the street. Was like that for over an hour. Usual regulars in for statements and £70 out 😤😤😤
Socialising unnecessarily increases the chances that you’ll spread the virus to someone more vulnerable than you. OLD OR YOUNG.
That person could actually die.
You could be infected and not know it.
It’s mad that you’d go and sit in the pub with your mates knowing this.
