Our rehab team is currently caring for our largest sea turtle patient in a decade. ‘Ruth’ is being treated @NatlAquarium for a suspected boat strike injury; we’re working with a team of veterinary experts on the case. Thanks @merr_delaware for responding and transporting Ruth.
Cold-stun sea turtle season is here. We recently admitted 30 Kemp's ridley and 2 green sea turtles that originally stranded in Massachusetts. Meet Fluorine, a Kemp's being treated for eye lesions, pneumonia, and anemia.
It's National Veterinary Technician Week. Veterinary technicians are critical to the day-to-day operations of animal care facilities, and play vital roles in animal health and welfare.
