@BBCBreaking These false allegations are happening more and more, unfortunately. We're seeing it in youth, and it is destroying lives and future opportunities. I hope a lesson is learned from this.

@Mollys_ADHD I was diagnosed without a type by our GP after our son and daughter were also diagnosed by the GP without a type. My son has since had a psych ed assessment with a psychologist who says adhd combined. I think it depends on who diagnoses you and what tools and knowledge they have.

@Theholisticpsyc I never thought I had childhood trauma. Sure I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until I was 46, and always felt like a lazy failure, but I grew up in a two parent, loving home! I did learn early to zip it when my dad was mad, or my mom was critical, it made their mood pass more quickly

What's your "thing"? Mine is efficiency, I will be stuck in #ADHD paralysis until my brain calculates the most efficient way to get something done. It is physically painful to be inefficient.

I didn't lose it, but I figured out what's bothering me about this counselor. She constantly interupts me to offer her opinion, usually before I've made my point. She does have some good insights, but my #ADHD brain may not take much more of this! #Mentalhealth

I'm feeling particularly angsty today. I don't know if it's a good thing that I'm seeing my counselor or not yet. I haven't been overly happy with her and I might just lose it. I guess we'll know in about an hour! #depression #Mentalhealth
