@ThrillaRilla369 yes. With a contract agreement ie prenup, that protects both parties fairly in the event of dissolution of marriage, and Includes retirement plans for both parties.
@JackPosobiec I really feel like if Americans are going to comment on Canadian Plotics they should have the most basic understanding of how it works.
The Prime Minister of Canada is the leader of the Party that won the election. Canadians vote for a Party. Carney is the new liberal leader.
All the canadians that keep bitching about our system and saying the American one is better. This sounds exactly like the complaints here: but with a 4K bill.
Just got a nice little phone call from a debt collector. Never had any issues for years. I always pay my bills on time. All the time. This was something.
My kid went to the er for a migraine. A very severe one. Left her in the waiting room for 8 hours. I showed up to fight for her. Be her advocate and her mother as always. They still left her there. It wasn't until we were leaving that they came out to pull her into a back room to give her a migraine cocktail to alleviate the pain. Sent her back to the waiting room.
She never saw a doctor. Just a cocktail. Never was discharged. We left because it was insane the way all the patients were being treated.
Got a bill for 4,000 dollars. Told them on the phone that I would not pay it. They told me it would go on my credit report along with threats. Go for it. I'm not paying 4k for my child to be treated like shit, while illegals are getting the best healthcare on our dime.
They want to ruin my credit? That's fine. Medical care must change in America. Period.
Ps. I can pay it. That's not the point, though. I refuse to pay for it. There's a difference.
@TWilsonOttawa@bcwinelvr My experience is so very different
Also Ontario, I got a new family dr 60 days after my previous one retired, she's lovely. The urgent care I frequent is never more than an hour wait. This is all very specific to where you live and whether doctors are willing to work there.
@donttreadonv@UW_Phoenix@timecaptales Canadian here. I pay less in taxes than most of my American friends do. Just throwing that out there. (This would also depend what state you live in though)
