BREAKING: Sen. Bernie Sanders gives a blockbuster speech during a Senate hearing on access to affordable childcare, shaming Republicans for their endless greed and their war against American kids.

"I don't think it's too much to ask that in the richest country in the history of the world, all of our children — no matter where they live, no matter what their background is — get the quality childcare, early childhood education, they need in order to flourish in life," said Sanders.

"I don't think that's a radical socialistic, if you like, statement," said Sanders. "I think that that's something that the vast majority of the American people believe in."

"So I think it's time we got our priorities right and if we get our priorities right, we put children at the top of the list. We reform childcare. Federal government has an enormously important role to play," said Sanders.

Meanwhile, Republicans are clawing to bring back child labor, with Kevin McCarthy bragging about making kids work for lifesaving benefits. On top of that, the GOP refuses to pass sane gun laws so children are regularly murdered in their classrooms.

It's undeniable. The Democrats are the party of protecting and nurturing our children, the Republicans are the party of exploiting and destroying them.
