Think about those words.

My question is brutally simple:

WHERE IS “HERE”?

Cape Union Mart?
The V&A Waterfront?
Cape Town?
South Africa?

WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU TELLING THAT THEY ARE NOT WANTED?

I AM A SOUTH AFRICAN.
I AM A CHRISTIAN.
AND I AM A ZIONIST.

I believe that the Jewish people have the right to self-determination and that the State of Israel has the right to exist.

SO AM I THE PERSON YOU “DON’T WANT HERE”?

Should Jewish South Africans who identify as Zionists understand that message to include them?

Should Christian Zionists understand that they are unwelcome?

Don't hide behind a chant.

ANSWER THE QUESTION.

Because South Africa did not defeat one politics of exclusion so that another movement could stand in one of Cape Town's most prominent public-facing spaces declaring which political or religious communities it “doesn't want here”.

AND THEN COMES PERHAPS THE MOST ASTONISHING ONE:

NOW YOU HAVE MY ATTENTION.

You want Jesus?

LET'S TALK ABOUT JESUS.

Jesus was JEWISH.
Not when convenient.
Not metaphorically.
Not according to “Zionist propaganda”.

HISTORICALLY JEWISH.

His mother was Jewish.
He was circumcised according to Jewish law.
His disciples were Jewish.
He attended Jewish feasts.
He taught in synagogues.
He worshipped at the Temple in Jerusalem.

Christianity itself emerged from a profoundly Jewish first-century context.

So please don't stand there invoking Jesus while politically airbrushing His Jewishness out of the photograph.

You may retrospectively use “Palestinian” as a geographical description if you carefully explain what you mean.

But presenting Jesus as though He possessed a modern Palestinian national identity while conveniently forgetting that HE WAS A JEW is not history.

IT IS POLITICAL THEATRE.

And the contradiction is spectacular.

Followed by:

“WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?”

Perhaps start by asking whether Jesus would approve of deciding which group of your fellow human beings is no longer wanted “here”.

BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE I AM WATCHING.

PAMPHLETS ARE BEING DISTRIBUTED.

So I have a direct question for V&A WATERFRONT MANAGEMENT:

HAS THIS DISTRIBUTION BEEN AUTHORISED?

I am not going to manufacture rules that don't exist.
I am asking management directly.

Does permission to demonstrate in the designated protest area include permission to distribute campaign material to Waterfront visitors?

If yes, SAY SO.

If there are conditions governing that distribution, PUBLISH THEM.
And most importantly:

ARE THE PAMPHLETS BEING DISTRIBUTED TODAY COMPLIANT WITH THOSE CONDITIONS AND WITH THE COURT ORDER?

Because the Western Cape High Court has now spoken.

The protesters remain entitled to protest.
They remain entitled to advocate a boycott.
They remain entitled to criticise Israel.

SO V&A WATERFRONT, HERE IS THE QUESTION:

ARE YOUR OWN RULES BEING ENFORCED?

Not against Palestinians.
Not against Muslims.
Not against Zionists.

AGAINST EVERYBODY.
EQUALLY.

Today, we officially learn that Catherine's Three Peak challenge fundraiser actually raised enough funds to create an entire site for Holistic healing for Cancer patient.
Yes Suesex squad asylum resident, know this and know peace: the main difference between the Wales and the Sussex is that William and Catherine are successful at EVERYTHING they do.
