More globally diverse learning materials encourage openness, awareness and acceptance; in short, they pave the way for more connection vs more divisiveness.

Teach kids HOW to learn - how to find, assimilate and analyse vast amounts of information and make a decision. With the flexibility to change their minds, if needed.

👥 “Top down” teaching doesn’t work: Facilitation is better.

Top down, “we know best” teaching isn’t the most effective model for people to learn from/with.

A collaborative, “I don’t know, let’s learn together” mindset invites curiosity and openness. Facilitate, don’t teach.

🧠 The education system isn’t broken: It’s simply no longer fit for purpose.

Designed for a different era that is no longer relevant for today’s world. We need creative problem solvers. We need free thinkers. NOT worker drones who need to be told what to do and how to do it.

A school in Pennsylvania School District recently banned a large selection of books, all of which were written by authors of colour. Students protested and the decision thankfully overturned. Like those students, we don't want to hide challenging books.
