Once again the SK Party offered binding arbitration but did not agree to include complexity. Because they didn’t agree to that a arbitrator can not award provisions of it unless both sides agree. This is the issue here.
This sums it up folks!
@SaskTeachersFed cannot trust @jeremycockrill. Binding arbitration offered by the SKParty doesn’t necessarily include provisions for class size/complexity
Has the prov gov agreed to include them in Binding Arbitration? If no, the public must know! #skpoli
Wascana Plains in Regina a K-8 elem. school, are projecting 1025 students next year 😳, they avg. almost 27 students to every 1 teacher. Think about that, these are not high schools kids these are kids learning to read and write. This is education under the Sk Party.
Everyone needs to read about the dangerous ER situation at Royal University Hospital. This was just sent to SUN.
Things are getting MUCH worse.
The shift began with 40 patients stuck in the ER waiting for a bed elsewhere in the system and 21 patients in the hallway.

Our members have spoken. It's time for @jeremycockrill and @SaskSchoolBoard to finally take this process and these issues seriously, and work with teachers in good faith to address the crisis occurring in Saskatchewan public schools.

Important history: teachers fought for proper funding for class size / complexity in 2020. Then COVID hit. Teachers bowed to a greater crisis & settled a contract based on @SKGov promise to fix the problem. But @SKGov did not keep its promise. So here we are again 4 years later.
@jeremycockrill@AE_Peacock The wait for child psychiatry in the north is 7+ years. We’re on the waitlist. My kid will be aged out or worse by the time they’re seen. Work with your colleagues to fix those gaping holes instead of bandaids solutions that are entirely inequitable
School boards need to be sharing their realities.
Negative or positive.
There should be transparent reporting of funding from every single publicly funded school division in our province.
We nurses knew. The science told us. Saskparty did not have the public's nor Health Care Workers' backs. It was a terrible time that didn't need to happen. Anyone can lead good times; true character comes out during challenging times.
