I am a wife and a mom to four great kiddos. In between carpool, homework, LAX, etc. I work as a second grade teacher and natural light portrait photographer.

The House has unanimously concurred with Senate amendments to H 3908, the bill to extend paid parental leave benefits to educators. This means the bill received a unanimous vote at EVERY stage of legislative process and now heads to @henrymcmaster to be signed into law!
@Ticketmaster My daughter was excited to get her email that she was selected for @taylorswift13 presale but she still hasn’t gotten a text with a code. It’s been 7 hours. Is the code coming? #SadSwiftie

We will tweet CU stream Sat AM #ROLLHIVE
@jasongriffinccs A3: I find the positive and name it. Whether it be a possible solution to a problem or a silver lining to a dark cloud. With my students I like to give shout outs- where we drop what we are doing and call home. The class joins in and cheers for their friend. #CravenEdChat
@jasongriffinccs A2: My students and families are thankful for an almost normal school year! It is so nice to be with students in a classroom again. #CravenEdChat
@Ms_Mac4 Tweeting from my kitchen table ( while also lesson planning). I love to learn by immersing myself in new things- reading, researching and trying new things. #CravenEdChat
A4: I do this with my kiddos when we reach a goal but no so much with adults in the building. Sadly, it sometimes feels that all this "extra" is merely expected and nothing special, nor anything to celebrate. #thisyearisrough#CravenEdChat
A3: Listen after a loss! "No fixing, no advising, and no saving" unless asked. Sometimes people have to just vent so they can move on, or so they can hear what their own inner teacher is saying. #CravenEdChat
A2: We have all had to pitch in this year. Printing plans for colleagues who are sick, (or helping to write them), giving up assistants, staying after to monitor late buses. None of these are selling points for new recruits :-0 #CravenEdChat
A1 It seems there aren't a lot of people looking to join the team right now so looking at who is already on the team and looking to their strengths is super important.#CravenEdChat
@SomerBjork Our whole team just tweak our schedule to better meet the needs of our kiddos. The decisions we made at the beginning of the year were based on what we thought we knew of our Ss. Now, we know more so we are changing! #CravenEdChat
@Ms_Kramer_CCS And when students see their teachers "fail" at something, or not get the intended outcome they begin to see that it is OK to fail sometimes. #CravenEdChat
@jasongriffinccs A4: We look at our data a lot. We do error analysis ( the magic is in the mistakes!), talk about what we can do differently to get a different outcome if we aren't happy, and we try new things! Sometimes what we try doesn't work, but then we just try again. #CravenEdChat
