Yet another example of Texas leadership not caring about the health of kids. HB 455, a bill that would have brought transparency to school recess policies was vetoed at the highest level. Looks like “bureaucracy” stopped Red Rover from coming over...
Thank you @RepToniRoseTX and @TexasHouse for passing #hb744 on second reading. A needed bill that allows TX mothers to have health coverage 12-months post delivery & would help reduce maternal mortality rates in Texas. Tell your Rep to vote yes on final reading @childrenatrisk
An incredible example of a school district recognizing the impact of school meals on a student’s education. Thank you, @IrvingISD! Everyone from the Superintendent to the Nutrition staff was dressed in their superhero best to celebrate! @childrenatrisk
There is a crisis in Dallas County and surrounding counties...in the last year we lost 400 Mental Health beds, we must work together to to push for more funding for inpatient beds.-Dr. Celeste Johnson #txlege#growingupinNorthTexas@childrenatrisk
Headed to Austin for Human Trafficking Advocacy Day! Excited to share about the great pieces of legislation @childrenatrisk has drafted, and speak with legislators about why it is so important to make Texas a safe place for our kids. #txlege
@MeganSearfoss@balsamhill That is terrible! The way they treat customers demonstrates to me that they are not counting on our return business. It definitely puts a damper on the Christmas season. I hope your tree comes quickly!
WORST customer service ever, @balsamhill. Ready to put up our new tree, found out they sent us the wrong one...when we called, they asked, don’t you like it? They made us coordinate the exchange on the wrong tree they sent us. If @balsamhill makes a mistake, they won’t fix it
The 86th Legislative Session is quickly approaching. Learning all about how we can ensure the voices of NTX children are represented in Austin #legislativebriefing@childrenatrisk
@balsamhill Thank you for your response. Two phone calls, an email, and tweets got us a free return label and $50 credit for an incredibly expensive tree. I think I have to stand by my comment of terrible customer service. No wonder the world is losing to @amazon
