DeGette never took this race seriously. It blows my mind that Dem incumbents are acting like momentum for their challengers has come out of nowhere, given how angry— I mean, REALLY pissed off— Democratic voters have been for months, years even.
It’s not like they’ve been hiding their anger, either. And if you’re an incumbent caught off guard by this, you’re really out of touch with your constituents and the mood of the electorate at a critical time— and that’s a damning, frankly, disqualifying error. #copolitics
