I am clearly once again terrible at promoting stuff my group's been involved in on Twitter, but I'm super excited about this one - having a blast collaborating with @StattAntonia, and hope this manuscript is the first of many!
Update, for anyone else who's having problems: abstract submission site is apparently staying open 'til 5pm tomorrow, and APS recommends attempting submission in "off-peak" hours
Hey @APSphysics and @APSMeetings, the abstract submission site for March Meeting isn't working (I'm getting server errors & timeouts on multiple computers & browsers). Is this getting fixed, & can we get the deadline extended to ensure we can all get our submissions in?
@fullerton_lab @ChemePitt @James_McKone @mvfedorchak @BaylesTaryn@mbsacre I'll skip the tags since I'm super late to this party, but this is fun & I like the message so I'll play anyway. Here are mine!

@MyDogIsFunny@POGILproject The @POGILproject hosted a couple of webinars last week that you might find useful: https://t.co/VNiqhRSyY2 (college) and https://t.co/aXGtOoQH2J (middle/high school). There's also one specifically about asynchronous POGIL too if you dig in their Vimeo feed.
Major props to my awesome students for continuing to show up, participate, and do the best they can to help bring our collegial classroom environment online!
So I was kind of apprehensive about taking my #POGIL class online through Zoom, but 3 class meetings in, I'm pretty pleased with how it's working. Breakout rooms work great for group work & the annotate feature is fantastic for reporting out.
This is a super cool video of my lab and labmates, explaining our research to the incoming grad students.
Also, if you are looking to join @Pitt_Chemistry in Fall, check out the other videos and the virtual tour of our department! :)

This channel didn't exist a week ago, but we're up to 6 videos with at least 3 more in the works. Come check it out! Major thanks to my colleagues, our students, and especially fellow video nerd Kelsey Muchnok for helping me make this happen.
@thomas_oconnor Ahaha, I wondered if anyone was going to spot those! They've been living in my office for department game nights the last couple months, but I did remember to rescue them before we had to vacate the labs at the end of last week, so at least we can play while stuck at home :-)
I am apparently terrible at Twitter, because both my awesome collaborator (@fullerton_lab) and the PQI (@PGHQuantum) tweeted this before I did. But, here is our newest paper! "Triggerable" polymerized ionic liquids, now out in @ACSMatLett: https://t.co/D4ePsgeJe9
Really bummed about the #apsmarch cancelation, but glad I had a chance to catch up with at least a few #DPOLY folks yesterday. Good luck to everyone who already made the trip in getting all the return travel logistics worked out!
@arthijayaraman Same here. I'm the only one from my group here, so the damage will be limited, but I *really* wish this decision had been made even 24 hours earlier. It's going to be a huge headache to get everything changed to get home.
So I made a video on writing statements of purpose for grad school: https://t.co/ryQnShnT9r Planning to do more of these - would love suggestions re. topics that would be useful! #gradschool
