Special, special recruiting class heading into @ECUBaseball for the 28’ class. And not done yet.

Staff has been hammering Eastern NC, recruiting the best DUDES and keeping guys HOME‼️

Big time by @cgodwin23 and ECU staff.

ECU is all in on homegrown talent. Exciting to see. 🏴‍☠️

Going to be making a lot of trips to Greenville in the future 🤟🏻

Best part of the story is that there was no room with the other kids in the Jungle, so these adults took matters into their own hands and boosted Chase up over the wall the entire game!!! Pirate Nation getting behind our boy from an early age!!! 💜💛🏴‍☠️🙏@ECUJungle

[#PackTheJungle🏴‍☠️💍 @ECUJungle]

The year was 2019…..

Current @Cardinals player @alecburleson9 walks to the Jungle in an NCAA regional to give a ball to a kid….

He hands it to the newest @ECUBaseball 2028 commit…. @CWhite5_28

Absolute cinema!!!!

Chase is an ELITE arm…. Turning down strong offers from ACC and SEC programs to remain home and keep building the Pirates program.

I’ve known the family for 20 years…. No better people on this earth

Congrats Chase… excited to watch you compete!!!!

Standout 2028 RHP Chase White has committed to East Carolina.

The South Central product is staying home for college baseball, choosing the Pirates over UNC, Auburn, NC State, South Carolina, and more.

Chase White (‘28 NC) put together 3.1 quality innings on the bump striking out 5 working at a good pace; overpowered batters with a FB up to 92 complimenting it with a SL in the mid 70s that had some good run to it, worked all spots of the zone with command behind his stuff. @PG_Coastal #WWBA @PG_Uncommitted

FB up to 90. Stuff plays across the board. Two-seamer had real action at 85-86. Slider with sharp tilt and depth at 77-79. Change tunneled at 79-80.
