I really have so many questions and probably will never know the answers. This was prior to the tank and I literally had just added more money to it 5 minutes prior. In a matter of minutes during the FOMO melt down my entire bag was nuked. I never would have executed a sell of my entire bag of $CATE and how this was able to happen when there was a lockout raises so many questions for me. When things came back up I had 3300 in my $FOMO account and everything was gone. I reached out to @PoorGoat_@harrypauldavies and it’s been crickets. I worked so hard to build and recruit other people just to be annihilated. I truly believed in this community but feel like I was absolutely robbed. I know I’m not the only one this happened to but I’m a single mom who works her butt off just to have it ripped away. Feels wrong in every sense and I know this is exactly how @JBAGZ82 must be feeling as well. I took a leap of faith and believed in this just to have it completely stolen from me. This isn’t ok by any means.
@MidCurveMortal You see this shit? Always a red flag when the "whole family invested" retail stories drop. I hope it was fake to drum up hype but thats like exactly what retail WOULD do if they return to crypto
@WoodSchizo@MidCurveMortal That was literally my daughter and FOMO nuked my wallet during the crash. Came back to my wallet with my initials. 298k coin gone. Can’t execute a sell when it’s locked down. Make it make sense
How $CATE insiders extracted ~$1M+ by systematically farming FOMO-app retail:
> FOMO app KOLs grouped up and vamped a hot narrative (SOL $CATE over the OG ETH $CATE, which had stronger IP claims).
> Bundles drove the chart higher when sentiment was at lowest (IP FUD, vamps, PUMP delisting)
> FOMO retail (normies + TikTok money) ''fomo'd'' hard into the bundle-driven rally past $50–$80m.
> Multiple coordinated insider wallets simultaneously nuked the chart causing a 85% dip.
> FOMO app pauses trading exactly as the chart collapses. Retail gets trapped and is forced to panic sell the lows.
> Bundlers + FOMO insiders buy the blood as retail gets priced out.
> FOMO app comes back online and retail buys the ''bounce'' right on top of them.
> Insiders sell the recovery, and bleed the chart to zero.
That is the whole model. Every token that existed as a "marketing push" for fomo app has ended the exact same way.
@Top1MemeScalper@PoorGoat_@Chairman_DN All I know is I lost 298k coins yesterday during the crash and I couldn’t get into it so how did it sell….. 🤔 no answers that make sense. For me definitely won’t ever use FOMO and after that manipulation can’t trust it
@NeoAi101 How so when app was down and no one could sell but somehow my entire bad sold? Free money?! lol. No I expect people not to screw other people over. Have the day you deserve
@ramonos No I never executed a full sell of my entire bag. The app was down no one could. Then all my transaction hx was gone. Appreciate your input though
@PoorGoat_ When you lose the trust of a community who stood behind you…it’s done. I may be just a “normie” but I just got nuked lost my entire bag when FOMO “crashed” something’s definitely off here.
@Darky1k Yep. FOMO nuked my bag and when system came back up was left with my initials. Never executed a sell of 298k I literally just bought more 5 min before
@I4NFTS I completely understand what you’re saying but I never executed a complete dump of my bag and that’s exactly what @FOMO is saying. The whole thing “crashed” and left with my initials…..something is up
Warning to all $CATE holders
I don't usually do these posts, but I've been sitting on this for a while and figured people deserve to see it before they size up a position.
Back in December 2025, I was in a DM conversation with the person now running $Catecoin , goes by " @PoorGoat_ " At the time we were just talking shit about the https://t.co/jfxDxWCWUv meta in general. I made an offhand comment about people rugging live coins at ~$1M market cap, and how they could easily run it to $10M+ first if they had the patience.
His response, verbatim: he'd run it up to the tens of millions before "full clipping" and then retire. Followed by "one day."
After not replying to him, he started to shill me rug companies, which I think was to drain my wallet.
Screenshot attached. Timestamps included so you can verify this isn't cropped or doctored.
To be clear about what I'm NOT saying: I'm not claiming I have inside information that $Catecoin specifically is a scheduled rug, and I'm not asserting he has some countdown timer on this exact coin. I don't have proof of intent for THIS project. What I do have is a screenshot of the person now running it describing, unprompted, exactly this playbook: run it up, clip everyone at the top, walk away, as something he'd be happy to do "one day."
Make of that what you will. Maybe he was joking. Maybe it was bravado. Maybe people say dumb stuff in DMs that doesn't reflect how they'd actually operate a live project with their name attached. I can't tell you which of those it is.
What I can tell you is this: if the person running a coin has told you directly, in writing, that this exact move is something he'd enjoy doing, that's not nothing. That's information. Weigh it accordingly.
Basic ground rules if you're still in or considering an entry:
— Don't put in more than you're fully fine losing to zero, on any https://t.co/jfxDxWCWUv style coin, period, regardless of who's running it
— If it runs, take profit in tranches on the way up instead of waiting for a top you'll never correctly call
Not financial advice, just a receipt and some context I think the community should have before decisions get made. DYOR.
