@NetworkRailSE The railway aloud trees to grow on the banks and now they have been cut down and the dead roots decay and loosen the banks , and bank slips happens
You have got another water pipe that leaking water on to the Railway at Lee , where westhorne Avenue crosses the Railway , clear water is flowing out of a bridge drain pipe , catford side of the bridge on the east bound carriageway towards Eltham , I saw it today on track

When lines are closed we take the opportunity to do all those really important jobs that we can't do when trains are speeding past.

@jeppy1963@NetworkRailSE The grey steel plate (looks like they’ve missed a bit) was a brand new replacement for an old rusting plate that was beyond repair. It will have its green paint coat completed shortly....
