After our official launch in November, we've had a large number of folks that have never opened a newsletter edition.
Today, I deleted them.
And the people that are still here, they've become our true fans!
We have 2 "subscribers" that wreak havoc on our click-through numbers.
Bots... That is my assumption.
According to the backend data, they are clicking all of the newsletter links w/in a matter of seconds. I know because I've paid close attention to these two.
Unsubscribed em!
Been putting in the time lately in preparation for the 100 miler.
Only two things I think about these days:
1. Heart rate
2. Time on my feet.
Covered almost 9 miles during yesterdayโs run. First time running that distance in years.
And Nana the dog is exhausted too!
Tomorrow's newsletter will include a couple new content buckets!
A contributing writer section from one of our community members.
And our Every Runday Spotify playlist!
Keeping this fun, educational and community centered.
Some businesses have been reaching out, others have been previous event sponsors.
Just put together a sponsor and partnership proposal. Let's see if anyone bites!

Just added another potential collab to the pipeline.
FM Scoop is a local newsletter in our community posting about news, events, etc. I think they have about 2,600 subscribers.
Not sure what a collaboration would look like, but I'm open to all possibilities.
Will report back!
Interesting stuff in the pipeline!
Might have an opportunity for a contributing writer and professional triathlete / coach to bring value to our community.
Need to brainstorm how to include them without diluting the newsletter.
Good problems to have!
Started playing around with design of the website and newsletter, just the colors, then got overwhelmed and stopped.
Reminded myself that if the newsletter content is solid, design can be 2nd.
The votes are in and they've been tallied up - with a 92% approval rating, Runday Rewards Cards has been born.
Exclusive discounts from local businesses coming to our community members!
