Quick message to all the new coders who have joined the ranks due to the new awesome Ai tools that make it easy to build anything:

1) Your idea isn’t new.
2) Coders before probably tried it
3) Coders before now understand that a website app isn’t automatically a million dollar business.
4) It’s not that they didn’t build it coz they can’t. They didn’t build it cos it’s not solving a real problem.
5) If you don’t know what .Env and .Gitingore is then Don’t do it.
6) Version control , I beg
7) It working on Replit or Bolt don’t mean it will work for a 100 customers.
8) No: you can’t vibe code a Facebook / Airbnb / Tinder replacement on free teirs of Superbase and Lovable. Prototyping and Proof of concepts are great to show an idea but to actually make it scale , it’s far far more complex.
9) Do not go to prod and start charging a customer for your app until you get someone who understands code (like really understands) has a look, coz my God. Some of the apps people have paid for literally die the date a dependency is deprecated or when a new field / index needs to be added to Firebase. Be careful.
10) Use these tools to actually learn everyday. Be curious. Be humble.
