It is fascinating to imagine how Nathan Fielder went about producing You Can See Everything. How did he decide to separate each act and was that the plan from the beginning? Some are arguing that it was too long, but you can also argue it wasn’t long enough. I never wanted it to end. I wonder if his plan was to have the full film focus on before she went to jail until he realized how nuanced he can get. I think adding Amanda Seyfried was genius because she’s so self righteous and sanctimonious. She couldn’t keep up with Fielder.
