We just recorded the first episode in The History of Texas Wrestling Series with @Fgbrisco and @JCLayfield where we cover 1865 to 1910 in Texas History and wrestling. Cowboys who were ex-Civil War soldiers, bounty hunters and drifters faced Comanche raids so they so they were learning defensive grappling & improvised fighting. Informal scuffles around campfires or saloons incorporated “Indian-style” endurance and ferocity—tales of warriors who wouldn’t quit reinforced the macho code & we tell those stories tomorrow morning premiering with Episode 1 of The HIstory of Texass Wrestling on @BriscoBradshaw

I went back and watched Justin Gaethje's walkout last night, and I don't know if there will ever be a greater one in the history of fighting.

The cinematography. The song. Him looking at the Declaration of Independence. The Oval Office.

Then to go out and pull off one of the greatest upsets ever against an undefeated phenom—as an American at the White House.

When the story of this fight is told years from now, I'm not sure we've ever seen someone rise to the occasion quite like Gaethje did.
