Jacob Misiorowski is one of the best pitchers in the world. He also has a binder of Pokémon cards that is nearly as large as him -- and he is 6-foot-7.
New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby has been diagnosed with right hamstring strain and will be day to day, sources tell ESPN. Anunoby is the Knicks second-leading scorer this postseason at 21.4 points per game. He is listed questionable for Game 3 on Friday against Philadelphia.
@WorldWideWob First game - other than Wilt’s 100 - where teammates have combined for 100 points. Simone Fontecchio was not a guy I would’ve predicted to be in the first pair to do it.
@mike_petriello Literally nothing more annoying than calling my attention to statistically aberrant players that I would most likely know nothing about otherwise but can find new appreciation for, thereby allowing me to find joy where there was ignorance. What’s your deal?
@GreatGameOrWhat Check out the transaction history of Dick Davis and Wayne Nordhagen in 1982. Davis was traded by the Phillies to the Blue Jays for Nordhagen on June 15th. A week later the Blue Jays traded him to the Pirates for…Wayne Nordhagen!
@thedanielrueda1 Must it be a comparison? Can we wish he had done better/more in his career and sympathize with another human’s pain? If he failed to empathize in his policy, should we fail now in return?
@jason_timperley@WorldWideWob@SkyWobAlerts A long time ago there was a chase and there was a debate about whether it was a dodge charger or a dodge challenger. The whole chat was people saying it was definitely a charger. The next chase, the chat was filled with people saying definitely a charger. And it just stuck.
@RexChapman Can’t tell from the angle, but it’s more likely that she didn’t catch it cleanly. If she hasn’t fully controlled it she can’t travel. Hard to believe a walk that egregious got overlooked (though the complaints about WNBA officiating are pretty significant)
